In Kentucky, the only thing more important than bourbon is family. Honoring the long branches of their family trees reaching from the Bluegrass to the Lone Star state, Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey and Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell were excited to present their rare, small-batch bourbon — Longbranch — at a launch event in Mr. McConaughey’s hometown of Austin, Texas. A Facebook Live engagement kicked off the day, followed by a local trade tasting and BBQ lunch experience where Matt and Eddie discussed the journey of making the Longbranch idea into a bottled reality. The day and product launch were much more than “alright.”
