9Rooftops recently welcomed Mandy Remeto and Leigh Ann Derringer as Associate Media Directors at Cogniscient Media, a 9Rooftops brand. They are responsible for leading the development of media strategies and execution of media campaigns across channels for 9Rooftops clients such as the Maryland Lottery and Belle Tire.
Based in the Baltimore office, Remeto oversees the media program for the Maryland Lottery account. She is no stranger to directing campaigns for the Maryland Lottery. Prior to Cogniscient Media, she managed the Maryland Lottery account for more than five years at Media Works, Ltd. when the Baltimore-based agency was their agency partner. As Senior Account Director at Media Works, Ltd., Remeto strategized, planned, and negotiated media placements that consistently increased overall lottery sales year over year.
Now, Remeto leverages her years of experience with the Maryland Lottery to lead the multi-million-dollar media program at Cogniscient Media. Remeto and her team are tasked with producing innovative recommendations for traditional channels. Remeto leads the negotiation for broadcast placements, while also guiding the team as they negotiate newspaper, magazine, radio, and out of home placements.
Based in the Pittsburgh office, Derringer oversees the media program for the Belle Tire account. She leads the development of media strategies that will net substantive brand ROI, as well as provides oversight for media planners and buyers across both digital and traditional channels. Additionally, Derringer collaborates with cross-discipline 9Rooftops teams such as Data Science + Analytics to refine targeting and deployment.
Before joining 9Rooftops, Derringer held media and leadership roles at both full-service and media only agencies. As Senior Director of Media Strategy and Analytics at RJW Media, she evaluated broadcast, digital, print, outdoor and sponsorship opportunities. She also analyzed online ticket sales and other sales data to determine future market focus and considerations. Previously, Derringer served in multiple roles at Mediahub, a division of the MullenLowe Group.
