Chicago, IL (October 28, 2021) – 9Rooftops recently welcomed Leah Matoney as the company’s Director of Field Marketing & Events. Matoney is responsible for overseeing special events and field team marketing efforts across the 9Rooftops portfolio of clients.
Throughout the past year, the 9Rooftops experiential team has helped clients redefine what experiential marketing means in the COVID-19 era. After putting on several virtual and hybrid content-focused events, 9Rooftops continues to help brands across every industry bring their stories to life and connect with target consumers in new ways. The agency’s experiential marketing strength, combined with its best in-class data science and analytics capabilities, helps 9Rooftops to produce engaging events that consistently drive results and exceed objectives.

Matoney specializes in the wine and spirits and CPG categories, working previously on the agency side with clients like William Grant & Sons. Prior to joining the 9Rooftops team, Matoney was responsible for program planning, promotions, and coordinating effective sales blitzes, while overseeing a team of distributor field representatives, at Breakthru Beverage. As Field Sales Manager, she worked with liquor suppliers including Fifth Generation (Tito’s), Treasury Wine Estates, and Brown Forman.
Earlier in her career, Matoney served as the Associate Director of Field Marketing for BFG Communications, one of the three agencies that merged to form 9Rooftops in June 2020. She developed and produced experiential event activities for Campari America, as well as provided reports, ongoing learnings, analytics, and on-the-ground support for initiatives as needed.

When she’s not passionately building experiences for brands, Matoney loves to spend time in nature, cook, and practice yoga. She also adores animals and is a proud dog mom to her two super-senior rescue pups, Jack and Jub-Jub.
